January 2011:

BTA awarded the AIA Florida Northwest Chapter Honor Award for Design Excellence - The AIA Northwest Chapter awarded Bullock Tice Associates with an Honor Award for Design Excellence in the category of New Work on January 27th, 2011 for their efforts on the Saint Paul Catholic Church project located in Pensacola, FL. September 2010:

Bay Breeze Events Center Complete - The BTA crew headed to Keesler AFB, MS Thursday, September 16th to celebrate the completion of the Bay Breeze Events Center project. A reception was held in the new facility Thursday night and was followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony and golf tournament on Friday. Community sponsors donated more than $100,000 for the grand opening celebration.

The Events Center is a three-story, multi-functional facility which includes an Open Mess, a Recreation Center and a Golf Course Clubhouse. As noted in the SunHerald, the Center is large enough to host a golf tournament, a wedding and a conference simultaneously while the community center and restaurant are operational. Bullock Tice, alongside WG Yates & Sons Construction, provided Design/Build services for the facility. To learn more about the project, click here.

MANNA Canstruction Contest - BTA participated in MANNA Food Bank's annual Canstruction Contest and was the winner of the "Best Use of Labels Award" and the People's Choice Award for our "Something Fishy" design (featured right).

August 2010:

BTA CEO John P. Tice, FAIA awarded the AIA Florida Gold Medal - This award is to recognize an individual architect in Florida who has distinguished himself/herself in a manner resulting in a profound impact on the profession over an extended period of time. This is the highest award AIA Florida can bestow on one of its members and only one may be given in a year.
